Vegetable Cheddar Soup
Vegetable Cheddar Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. margarine or butter, 2 tbsp. flour, 1/4 tsp. onion powder, 1/8 tsp. white pepper and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Melt margarine in large saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in flour, onion powder, white pepper, milk, chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low. Simmer 5 to 6 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in cheese.
Cook over low heat until cheese is melted, stirring constantly.
