Cut veal into 6 servings.
Pound meat with meat mallet to flatten a little.
Mix flour, salt and pepper together.
Coat veal steaks with flour mixture.
Brown steaks in shortening.
Add sherry and simmer for 1 hour or place in a 325Β° oven for 1 hour.
