Upside-Down Ham Loaf
Upside-Down Ham Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. brown sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp. dry mustard, 6 drained canned cling peach halves, 3/4 lb. ground cooked ham and 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix the brown sugar and dry mustard together; sprinkle it all over the bottom of a loaf pan.
Set the peach halves in the loaf pan with the rounded bottoms sitting on the sugar.
Now, mix the ground ham and beef with the bread crumbs, beaten eggs, pepper and milk; pack it all into the pan right over the peaches.
Bake the loaf in a 350Β° oven for 1 hour.
Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before turning it out with the peaches on top.
