Tourtiere(Meat Pie) is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. oil, 1 1/2 lb. ground pork, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 large onion, finely chopped and 2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Pour oil into very large pot over low heat.
Add all ingredients remaining, except pastry; mix well.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes, or until most liquid is absorbed but mixture is still very moist.
Let cool.
Line pie plates with pastry.
Add filling; cover with top crust.
Seal and cut slits in top.
Bake at 375Β° for 35 minutes.
