Tomato Rice Soup with Ham
Tomato Rice Soup With Ham is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sliced bacon, diced, 1 medium onion, sliced, 1 c. diced ham, 1 (28 oz.) whole tomatoes and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sweet corn, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cook bacon in large saucepan on medium heat until lightly browned.
Add onion and ham; cook and stir until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes, corn, water, tomato sauce, bouillon cube, thyme and pepper; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in rice; cover.
Remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Garnish with parsley if desired.
