The Chef's Gulf Coast Shrimp Creole
The Chef'S Gulf Coast Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1 c. celery, finely chopped, 2 to 4 green peppers, chopped, 3 cloves garlic, minced and 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook and stir onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in butter until onion is tender.
Remove from heat; stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
If mixture is too thick, add a little water.
Stir in shrimp.
Heat to boiling.
Cover and cook over medium heat about 20 minutes or until shrimp is pink and tender.
Serve over rice.
Yields 6 servings.
