Thailand Pork and Shrimp Dip
Thailand Pork And Shrimp Dip is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 1/2 tbsp. chopped coriander, 3 cloves garlic, chopped, 1 tsp. white pepper, 3/4 c. thin coconut milk and 8 oz. lean ground pork, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine coriander, garlic and white pepper.
Pound or process to a smooth paste.
To aid in processing, you may add a little coconut milk.
Heat thin coconut milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it is just simmering.
Stir in coriander paste, pork, shrimp and shallots.
Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook, stirring, uncovered, for about 5 minutes or until pork is cooked.
Stir in tamarind water, fish sauce, brown sugar and peanuts.
Cook until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat.
