Tangy Onions
Tangy Onions is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium onions, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste and 1/4 c. balsamic vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Peel onions and cut a small slice from the top, leaving the root end whole.
Cut each onion from the top into 8 wedges, taking care not to cut through the root end.
Brush 4 sheets of aluminum foil with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix vinegar, oregano, brown sugar, salt and pepper and rub this mixture on all surfaces of the onions.
Wrap each onion in a sheet of aluminum foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for an hour or until tender.
In the last 5 minutes of baking, open the foil and sprinkle with the bread crumbs.
