Swiss Cheese Fondue
Swiss Cheese Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. shredded natural cheese (swiss), 2 tsp. cornstarch, dash of nutmeg, dash of pepper and 1 c. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Add cornstarch, nutmeg, pepper and salt to cheese. Toss lightly with fork to combine. Add wine to 3-quart saucepan (or earthenware to keep heat longer). Cook over low heat until it begins to bubble gently.
Add cheese, a handful at a time, stirring rigorously with a wooden spoon until cheese melts and mixture is thoroughly blended. Serve immediately with bread cubes.
