Swiss Alpine Pie
Swiss Alpine Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10-inch unbaked pie shell, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, 2 c. ham, cubed, 2 c. swiss cheese, shredded and 1/2 c. milk, scalded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 450°.
Slightly cook broccoli; drain well and chop into 1/2-inch pieces.
Layer ham, cheese, broccoli and onions in pie crust, using two layers.
Add eggs (beaten) to scalded milk; add salt and pepper.
Mix well and pour over ingredients in pie shell.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake for additional 35 minutes.
Remove and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
