Swedish Meatballs
Swedish Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. lean ground beef or a mixture of pork and beef, 1 medium size onion, finely chopped (grate) and sauteed in butter or margarine, 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs, 1/2 c. milk and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix bread crumbs and milk and let stand until thickened, about 20 minutes.
Put ground beef and chopped onions in the mixture of bread crumbs and milk.
Add egg, salt and pepper and mix well.
