Sumi Salad
Sumi Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. oil, 6 tbsp. rice vinegar, 1/4 c. sesame seeds, toasted, 1 firm head cabbage, sliced thin and 1/2 tsp. sugar (on chopped cabbage), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix vinegar, sugar and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Add oil and Ramen flavor mix; stir until well blended. Don't add noodles, nuts and dressing until ready to serve.
You can substitute 1/2 balsamic vinegar and 1/2 wine vinegar for rice vinegar.
Cooked chopped chicken may be added.
