Stuffed Peppers
Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large green peppers, 3/4 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. uncooked rice, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1/2 large green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Rinse and cut a thin slice from the stem end of each pepper. Remove white fiber and seeds.
Rinse cavities.
Drop into boiling water and cover; simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove peppers from water and drain.
Saute the meat, onion and chopped pepper.
Cook until slightly tender.
Add uncooked rice, seasonings, tomato sauce and water.
Heat to a simmer, until rice is slightly tender.
Fill peppers with the meat mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
If desired, top with bread crumbs and bake 10 - 15 minutes longer.
