Stuffed Peppers
Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large green peppers, 2 tbsp. butter, 3 tbsp. minced onion, 1 lb. ground beef and 1/2 c. precooked instant rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Split peppers lengthwise; remove seed and stems.
Wash and drop into a large pot of boiling salted water.
Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes; drain.
Arrange in baking dish.
Saute onion and celery in butter for 5 minutes.
Mix onion, celery, beef, rice, salt and 1 can of tomato sauce.
Fill peppers with meat mixture.
Combine 1 can tomato sauce with water and wine; pour over peppers.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake 20 minutes longer.
