Stuffed Green Peppers
Stuffed Green Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 large green peppers, 1 lb. hamburger, 2 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. garlic salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cut tops of each pepper off, remove seeds and membranes and rinse.
Cook peppers in boiling water (enough to cover them) for 5 minutes.
Drain.
Brown hamburger with onion; drain excess oil. Add salt, garlic salt, rice and 1 cup tomato sauce; heat through. Stuff each pepper with mixture, placing peppers in ungreased baking dish.
Pour remaining sauce over peppers.
Cover; bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Uncover, cook 15 minutes longer.
Sprinkle with cheese.
