Stuffed Green Peppers
Stuffed Green Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 to 6 medium green peppers, 3/4 c. brown rice, cooked, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 medium chopped onion and 8 oz. can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Remove tops and seeds from peppers.
Cook peppers 5 minutes in boiling water.
Remove; drain.
Brown beef and onion; drain.
Add tomato sauce, herbs, salt and pepper.
Cook 5 minutes.
Stir in rice.
Stuff peppers.
Place upright in shallow baking dish.
Bake at 375Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
(Leftover peppers freeze well.)
