St. Paul's Rice
St. Paul'S Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pork sausage, crumbled, 1 large green pepper, chopped, 1 large onion, chopped, 3 stalks celery, chopped and 1/2 c. raw rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large skillet, brown sausage, pepper, onion and celery. Drain and set aside.
In saucepan, combine rice, soup mix and water.
Bring to boil and cook 7 minutes.
Combine sausage mixture, rice mixture and almonds.
Pour into 2-quart casserole dish.
Top with cheese, if desired.
Cover tightly and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Serves 8 to 10.
