Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. yellow squash, sliced, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. bread crumbs and 3 tbsp. melted margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook squash in small amount of water until just tender; drain. Mash slightly; drain again.
Combine with sour cream, 1/4 cup margarine, onions, salt and pepper to taste.
Place in a greased 1-quart baking dish.
Mix together bread crumbs and cheese.
Toss with 3 tablespoons melted margarine and sprinkle over squash. Bake in a preheated 350Β° oven for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
You can add 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheese to top of casserole.
