Spiced Peaches
Spiced Peaches is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (29 oz.) can cling peach halves, 2 tsp. whole cloves, divided, 1 (3-inch) piece cinnamon and 2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Drain peach syrup into saucepan. Add the cloves and cinnamon. Stud peach halves with remaining cloves and return to peach can. Bring syrup to a boil; boil rapidly until reduced to about 1/2 cup.
Add brown sugar and vinegar. Simmer 5 minutes.
Pour over peaches in can.
Let stand several hours; drain.
Can be used to garnish turkey, etc.
