Spanish Rice
Spanish Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. rice, 1 bell pepper, cut into strips, 1 onion, chopped, 1/2 can tomato sauce and 1 tbsp. garlic salt or powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Rinse rice with cold water until water is clear; drain well, then let set until rice is completely dry.
Heat oil in large skillet.
Add rice and spread evenly.
When rice is brown, sprinkle garlic salt over it.
Add tomato sauce, bell pepper, onion and just enough boiling water to cover rice (approximately 1-inch).
Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove cover and stir.
Replace lid and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Serves 6.
