Spanish Cream
Spanish Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. gelatin, 3 c. milk, 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, 1/2 c. sugar and 3 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Scald milk with gelatin and sugar added.
Add egg yolks and cook until mixture coats spoon.
Beat egg whites until stiff. After removing custard from heat, fold in egg whites, salt and vanilla.
Pour into a dish to set.
Serve plain, with vanilla sauce or whipped cream.
