Spaghetti Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. each: hot and sweet italian sausage, 3 large cans tomato purée, 2 medium red bell peppers and 1 medium onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Roast peppers under broiler until blackened.

Cool and peel. Chop peppers, onion and mushrooms.

Cook vegetables in small amount of olive oil until tender in stock pot.

Brown sausage and ground beef.

Add vegetables and seasoning.

Add garlic only after, to avoid burning.

Add tomato purée.

Bring to simmer for 2 to 3 hours, depending on how hot you want sauce.

Remove hot sausage. Makes very large amount.

May be frozen, or use half the recipe.
