Southern Spoon Bread
Southern Spoon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. water, 1/2 c. butter, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Butter and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Heat water, butter, sugar and salt to boiling in saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in cornmeal and cook 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and place in large bowl.
Whisk in milk until smooth. Add eggs and baking powder.
Pour into pan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
Makes 12 servings.
