Southern Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 4 c. water and 2 c. long grain rice, uncooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Saute onions and garlic in oil.
Add water, rice, bouillon, and lemon juice.
Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat.
Simmer 20 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
