Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg and mix. Add sour cream, then dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets; press down with bottom of decorated glass that has been dipped in sugar. Bake at 425Β° for 12 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
