Smittie's Peach-Oatmeal Muffins
Smittie'S Peach-Oatmeal Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. pioneer sugar, 16 oz. canned sliced peaches or 1 lb. fresh pared peaches, 2 c. whole wheat flour, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Drain peaches and cut into small pieces. In a large bowl, stir together sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Stir in oats and peaches to coat. Stir together eggs, milk and oil. Add to flour mixture and stir to moisten. Fill 12 greased or lined muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes and tested with skewer for doneness.
Cool 5 minutes.
Turn onto rack.
Serve warm or cold.
