Sliced Baked Potatoes
Sliced Baked Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium potatoes, 1 tsp. salt, 2 to 3 tbsp. melted butter, 2 to 3 tbsp. chopped, fresh herbs and parsley, chives and thyme or sage or 2 to 3 tsp. dried herbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Peel potatoes and cut into thin slices but not all the way through; use handle of spoon to prevent knife from cutting all the way.
Place potatoes in a baking dish and fan them slightly. Sprinkle with salt, butter and herbs.
Bake potatoes at 425Β° for 50 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheeses.
Bake another 10 to 15 minutes, until potatoes are tender and cheeses have melted.
