Sicilian Meat Roll
Sicilian Meat Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. lean ground meat, 8 thin slices boiled ham, 6 oz. (1 1/2 c.) shredded mozzarella cheese*, 3 slices mozzarella cheese, halved diagonally* and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine all ingredients except ham and cheese.
On foil or waxed paper, pat meat mixture to a 12 x 10-inch rectangle.
Top with ham slices and shredded cheese.
Start at short end and roll up meat.
Seal edges and ends.
Place seam side down in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 75 minutes.
Place cheese wedges over top and return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese wedges melt.
