Shrimp Monroe
Shrimp Monroe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick butter, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1 small bunch green onions, 1 lb. cooked shrimp and 8 oz. sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Finely mince green onions.
Saute with sliced mushrooms in butter and garlic.
Add shrimp and cook briefly with vegetables. Blend flour in sherry and add to shrimp mixture, stirring until thickened.
Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Just before serving, add sour cream and warm.
Do not boil.
Serve over rice or angel hair pasta.
Thin slightly with milk, if needed. Serves 4.
