Shrimp Etouffee
Shrimp Etouffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. shrimp, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1 c. chopped onions, 1 c. chopped parsley and 1/2 c. green onion tops, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt butter; saute celery, onions and bell pepper.
Add flour; stir until dissolved.
Add tomatoes, green onion tops, parsley, finely chopped garlic and 1/2 cup water.
Simmer a while, then add seasoned shrimp and simmer for about 20 minutes.
JalapeΓ±os may be added, if desired.
If more gravy is needed, add a little cornstarch and water.
Serve over rice.
