Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. shrimp, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 1 clove garlic, minced and 1/4 c. margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Wash, peel and devein shrimp.
If large, cut in half crosswise.
Cook onion, pepper and garlic in margarine until tender.
Blend in flour and seasonings.
Crush tomatoes and add. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add shrimp and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
Serve over rice.
