Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. shrimp, 1 clove garlic, 2 medium pieces celery, chopped, 1 medium white onion and 1 small green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Clean shrimp.
Melt enough butter in pan to cover the bottom. Add garlic and sauté. Add celery, green pepper and onion.
When these are half cooked, add tomato purée and water.
Add pinch of sugar, thyme, salt and pepper.
Cook about 15 minutes.
It should be a nice thick consistency.
Serve over steamed rice.
