Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper, 1 clove chopped garlic, 2 tbsp. cooking oil and 8 oz. tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in hot oil until tender.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and all seasonings.
Simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons water and use to thicken sauce.
Add shrimp last and simmer, covered, until shrimp is cooked (about 5 minutes).
Serve over hot rice.
Serves 5 to 6 persons.
