Shrimp a La Creole
Shrimp A La Creole is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 1 c. chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 c. dry white wine and 1 tbsp. minced garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Add onion, pepper and parsley and saute until onions are clear.
Stir in remaining ingredients except shrimp.
Cover and cook over medium heat until sauce comes to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until tomatoes fall apart.
Add shrimp and continue simmering 30 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
