Sherried Spareribs
Sherried Spareribs is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 lb. pork spareribs, 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. catsup, 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar, 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Place ribs on a lightly greased rack in a shallow roasting pan.
Bake, uncovered, at 425Β° for 30 minutes.
In a medium saucepan, saute onion in oil.
Combine remaining ingredients and add to sauteed onion.
Bring to a boil, stirring well.
Place roasting pan 7 to 8-inches from heating element.
Broil ribs 15 minutes, turning every 5 minutes.
Baste liberally with sauce. Serve remaining sauce with spareribs.
