Self-Crust Turkey Or Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. chopped, cooked turkey or chicken, 2 hard-boiled eggs (peeled and sliced), 1 1/4 c. turkey or chicken broth, 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery or chicken soup (undiluted) and 1/4 c. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Place turkey or chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Layer egg slices on this. Blend broth and soup in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Pour broth and soup mixture over meat and egg slices. Mix margarine (melted), flour, milk and pepper and pour over ingredients in baking dish.
This mixture will not be smooth. Bake at 425Β° for 30 minutes or until crust is browned.
(You can add 1 can mixed vegetables, drained.)
