Scotch Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks), 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar, 3 1/2 c. flour and 1/2 c. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.
Sift the flour and cornstarch together and cut into butter mixture until coarse meal.
Knead 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and press into cookie sheet.
Prick with fork.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 60 minutes or until pale brown.
Do not overbake.
Cut into squares while warm.
