Sauteed Mushrooms
Sauteed Mushrooms is an easy dinner. Made with 1 chopped yellow onion, 2 cloves garlic, mashed and chopped, 4 containers fresh mushrooms, 1/2 c. dry white wine or brandy and 2 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Rinse mushrooms and remove stems, if desired.
May slice mushrooms or leave whole.
Place on towel and let dry.
Heat frying pan on high.
In hot frying pan, add 1 tablespoon of margarine and pour in onions.
Cook until they begin to show gloss.
Add garlic and stir.
Add remaining margarine.
Add mushrooms.
Saute on high until liquid has evaporated.
Add white wine or brandy and cook until absorbed.
