Sauerkraut Casserole
Sauerkraut Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. italian sausage, cut in 1-inch slices, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 apples, peeled and quartered, 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut (undrained) and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a skillet, cook sausage and onion until sausage is brown and the onion is tender.
Drain.
Put into a 2 1/2-quart baking dish and stir in apples, kraut, water, brown sugar and caraway seed.
Cover.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Garnish with parsley, if desired.
Serves 6 to 8.
