(1 stick) butter, softened, 1 c. heavy cream (whipping), 1 c. freshly grated parmesan cheese, 2 egg yolks and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a heavy saucepan, heat the butter and cream almost to a simmer.
Do not let it bubble.
Remove from heat and pour over cooked and drained pasta of your choice.
