Salmon Turbot
Salmon Turbot is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. salmon (large size), 1/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. flour, 1 egg and 1 qt. sweet milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Pick and remove bones from salmon.
Make a white sauce by mixing butter and flour together and adding one well beaten egg and the milk.
Cook until it thickens, stirring often.
In a baking dish, arrange alternate layers of salmon and white sauce. Cover the top with rolled cracker crumbs; dot with butter and a few tablespoons of milk.
Bake in a hot oven for about 25 minutes.
