Salmon Loaf with Green Pea Sauce
Salmon Loaf With Green Pea Sauce is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. unsalted margarine, 1 small yellow onion, chopped, 1 medium stalk celery, chopped, 3 tbsp. flour and 1/2 c. skim milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Melt 1 tablespoon of margarine. Add onion and celery and cook until soft, 5 minutes.
Blend 1 tablespoon of flour; add milk and cook 3 to 5 minutes, until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in salmon, bread crumbs, egg white, 1 teaspoon dill, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
Turn all in a greased 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2-inch loaf pan.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool for 15 minutes.
