Salmon Chowder
Salmon Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, 3/4 c. minced onion, 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can salmon or 1/2 lb. cooked salmon steak, skinned and boned, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. white pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. If using canned salmon, discard skin and dark meat.
Cook onions in butter about 5 minutes.
Add salmon, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Add flour mixed with 1 tablespoon of the milk and stir to mix.
Add potatoes and milk.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Garnish with dill.
