Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup water.
Bring to a boil vinegar, sugar and 1/4 cup water.
Add gelatin, salt, celery salt and pepper.
Cool and add 1 cup salad oil.
Store in refrigerator; shake dressing at times to keep mixed until set.
Keeps for months in refrigerator.
