Sage Stuffing
Sage Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, melted, 3 c. chopped onions, 3 c. minced celery, 16 slices white bread, dried and broken into small pieces and 6 tbsp. fresh sage or 3 tbsp. dried sage leaves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Put 4 tablespoons of melted butter into skillet.
Add onion and celery and cook, stirring often, over moderate heat until vegetables are soft but not browned.
In large bowl, combine dried bread, sage, parsley, salt and pepper.
Add onion and celery mixture and remaining melted butter.
Toss until well mixed.
Using your hands works best for mixing.
