Ruthie Wagner's Green Bean Casserole
Ruthie Wagner'S Green Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 medium cans french green beans, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, 1 large can french fried onion rings, 2 eggs, beaten and 1/4 c. milk or water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix eggs, milk, flour, salt and pepper.
(Batter will be thick.)
Heat water to boiling.
Press batter through the holes in a colander (preferred one with large holes), a few tablespoons at a time, into the boiling water.
Stir once to prevent sticking. Cook about 5 minutes or until Spaetzle rise to surface and are tender.
Drain.
Toss Spaetzle with butter or margarine.
Serve with gravy or just plain.
