Rosettes
Rosettes is an easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 1 tsp. sugar or more, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 c. milk and 1 c. flour or more, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Beat eggs slightly with sugar and salt.
Add milk and flour and beat until smooth.
Dip rosette iron into hot lard or Crisco, then in batter, covering 2/3 of iron.
Return iron to lard, thoroughly covering batter for 20 to 35 seconds.
Remove as much oil as possible, then drop rosettes onto paper.
