Roast Turkey
Roast Turkey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 15 lb. turkey, thawed, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, 1/2 c. butter (room temperature) and 1/2 tsp. mrs. dash, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Remove giblet and neck (may be inside or at the top above the breast).
Remove excess fat.
Put salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash all over the body of the turkey.
Loosen skin on the breast with fingers. With fingers, spread 7 tablespoons of butter under the skin on breast. Stuff cavity, if desired.
Tie legs together. Rub 1 tablespoon on breast. Sprinkle with seasonings.
Put in baking bag and add soup. Roast 3 1/2 hours. Check with meat thermometer to see if done.
Must register 170°. Push in thickest part of thigh, not touching the meat. Cool and serve.
