Rice-Crusted Ham 'n Swiss Pie
Rice-Crusted Ham 'N Swiss Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. cooked rice (3/4 c. uncooked), 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted, 3 eggs, 1 c. (4 oz.) chopped cooked ham and 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded swiss cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Thoroughly combine rice, butter and 1 slightly beaten egg. Press lightly against sides and bottom of an ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
In rice crust, layer ham, cheese and 1/2 cup fried onions. Combine milk, remaining 2 eggs and pepper.
Pour over ham-cheese-onion filling.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
