Red-Eye Stew
Red-Eye Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. stew meat, 1 large onion, 1 pod garlic, 5 or 6 potatoes and 2 cans tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put cooking oil in skillet and get hot.
Salt and pepper meat; sear good.
Add onion and garlic; sear (mince onion).
Add the tomato sauce and chili powder.
Add water to about 1-inch from top. Put lid on and cook about 2 hours on medium heat, then add the potatoes which have been cut up in small pieces.
Put lid back on and cook about 30 minutes or until potatoes are done.
